Cisco Systems Off-Campus Freshers Team:-
There are two supporting roles.
1. Product ops software engineer:-
- End-to-End Third-Party Software Compliance and Risk Management (TPSCRM) platform, which governs and drives all the Open Source and Commercial product component licensing and compliance management, as well as being the repository of all Cisco's Product Bill Of Materials (P-BOM) and associated publications, is in need of support engineer.
- This position will need the candidate to have a strong customer focus and the ability to follow up on problems and teach end-users throughout the world since they will be engaging with all Cisco Engineering clients.
- Processes for Defect Analysis and Validation (DAV) and CI/CD
- Before assigning a ticket to Tier-2 support for the resolution, review all user-submitted tickets linked to problems detected in the TPS Ecosystem (TPSCRM platform).
- Educate the platform's end users on the basics and enable the workflow in any problematic regions.
- Create weekly, monthly, or quarterly reports to keep track of client complaints and difficulties.
- Make sure the Engineering Team is taking care of Level-2 and Level-3 issues in order to avoid SLA issues.
- Experience with open source components and libraries from a variety of vendors would be highly sought after in this position.
- Cisco procedures (CPDM – Cisco Product Development Methodology, PLM – Product Lifecycle Management, CSDL – Cisco Secure Development Lifecycle) will be a definite benefit, but not required, for this position.
The following are the absolute necessities:
- Technical and Quality Assurance Software Engineer
- Provide services, provide data, or automate tests using software on the client-side.
- Design needs, reliable software deployments, and easy transfers to the operations team may be achieved by working with the architectural and server-side developers, as well as the QA and operations teams.
- TFS, user guide, and training documents to describe low-level design requirements, software use recommendations, and user training details.
- To guarantee that your software is well-designed, do TFS reviews with your whole team.
- Where necessary, provide for education and training.
- Visit deployment locations to acquire system specifications or to make sure they go well.
- Assist with production-related concerns.
- Python programming expertise is a must.
- Expertise in XML, JSON, REST, Sockets, Linux OS, Windows OS, and multi-threading
- JavaScript, JavaScript/JQuery, cryptography/security programming, MySQL/MS SQL, software development lifecycle, manufacturing testing, Delphi, COM, and networking protocols are all good to have in your toolbox.
Technical Qualifications:-
- Aspirational Degree: Bachelor's (BA/BS/etc)
- Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field of study is preferred.
- A grade point average of at least 3.0 out of 4.0 is required.
